PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE


WHAT IS The ProFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Committee?

The Professional Development Committee is responsible for PACO Scholarships and assisting current or future Paralegal students on their educational path. The committee awards numerous scholarships annually to applicants that are voted on by the PACO Board. The scholarships awarded annually through PACO would be the PACO Student and Certification.



2019 / SCHOLARSHIPS :

Romy Noltimier – Awarded $500 PACO Student Scholarship

Attends Capital University Law School in their Paralegal Certificate Program. She has been a member of PACO since 2019 and has been eager to get involved with PACO as time allows. Romy will be applying the PACO scholarship award towards her expenses at Capital with tuition, books and supplies. Her expected graduation is December 2020.

Sharon Hershey- Awarded $500 PACO Student Scholarship

Sharon attends the Paralegal Program at Columbus State Community College. She will be utilizing the PACO scholarship funds to offset her education costs for the paralegal program. Her expected graduation is Fall 2022.

ROUNDTABLES :


The Professional Development Committee oversee the roundtables established such as litigation and corporate. The roundtables can be led by any PACO member. Anyone interested in hosting a roundtable can contact the Professional Development Committee to assist in coordinating.
