This one-hour ethics CLE focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence into legal proceedings and court reporting.  Topics include:  an overview of generative AI and how it is being used in the legal space, the role of the certified court reporter as a neutral officer of the court and guardian of the legal record, data privacy and confidentiality concerns, the risks of deep fakes and AI-generated content in legal exhibits and records, and ethical considerations and attorney competence when using emerging technology.
