2022 PACO Application for Scholarship

The Paralegal Association of Central Ohio (“PACO”) is awarding one (1) paralegal student scholarship in the amount of $500 and one (1) paralegal certification scholarship in the amount of $250 which will be awarded at PACO’s Paralegal Day celebration on May 17, 2022.

The eligibility criteria for paralegal scholarship consideration are each candidate must:

1. provide proof of payment for certification exam to respective institute or provide paralegal program transcript from educational institute;
2. be nominated by his or her paralegal professor (for student scholarship); and
3. submit a completed “Application for Scholarship” by the deadline indicated below.

The awarding of each paralegal scholarship shall be:

1. determined by the PACO Professional Development Committee;
2. based upon criteria including, but not limited to, work history, educational experience, financial need; and,
3. awarded at the Paralegal Day celebration to the scholarship recipients selected.

The Professional Development Committee will make the determination of whether or not a personal interview is needed to finalize the selection of the scholarship recipients. If so, you will be contacted by someone from this committee to be interviewed.
