    PACO's Programs Committee has been busy coordinating General Membership Meetings which are held monthly at the Columbus Bar Association, from 12 Noon- 1:00 p.m.

  • August 27: Legal Insights

    The PACO Programs Committee is introducing 'Legal Insights' which will be an opportunity for the Programs Committee to invite speakers to speak on specific legal topics for PACO members in additional to what is currently offered in our General Membership meetings. These sessions will be via Zoom only, and will be held on the last Thursday of each month. The first Legal Insights has been scheduled in August, be sure to sign up!

    Announcing PACO's next Workers' Compensation Roundtable where the discussion topic will be, The Fine Art of the Independent Medical Exam. This session will be of interest to paralegals in a number of practice areas, and all are welcome. We will discuss the fine are of the independent medical examination - when to get an exam, choosing the doctor, presenting the medical evidence, and crafting the questions to be addressed in your doctor's report. Tips and tricks will be shared for getting the biggest bang out of your buck with your IME and effectively using your expert medical opinion report administratively and for trial.
